We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Analyst to join our UK Tendering & Pre-Construction function in Manchester.

This is an analytical and commercially focused role supporting the Head of Pre-Construction & Tendering (UK). You will help improve the consistency, quality and commercial accuracy of the tender process, while developing resource capacity forecasting that translates the live tender pipeline into future headcount requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Reviewing live and completed tenders for process compliance, consistency and commercial accuracy
• Analysing cost build-ups, escalation/indexation, contingency and risk provisions
• Comparing tender pricing against previously delivered projects to identify inconsistencies and commercial risks
• Reviewing cable schedules and project quantities to help mitigate design risk
• Developing Excel-based resource capacity forecasting models
• Applying probability weighting to project pipelines and producing scenario analysis
• Forecasting future resource and headcount requirements
• Identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives using structured root-cause analysis
• Quantifying and measuring the benefits of improvement initiatives
• Identifying opportunities to standardise and automate recurring manual processes
• Facilitating lessons-learned sessions and translating findings into practical process improvements

What we're looking for

You'll be a commercially minded and analytical professional who is comfortable challenging existing ways of working and turning complex information into clear recommendations.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience
• Understanding of commercial terms and processes, including cost build-ups, margin, contingency and escalation
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly for analysis and forecasting
• Strong written communication and process-documentation skills
• Confidence to challenge stakeholders and recommend improvements
• Ability to handle confidential commercial information appropriately
