Registered Building Inspector – Class 2A to 2F
We’re working with an established Building Control organisation with a strong presence in the local area, who are looking to add an experienced Registered Building Inspector to their team.

They’re open to Class 2A through to Class 2F Registered Building Inspectors, with salary dependent on registration class and experience.

The role is predominantly site inspection focused, with an approximate 80/20 split between site inspections and plan checking. The work is varied, covering both domestic and commercial projects, with sites focused across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

The role
As a Registered Building Inspector, you’ll be responsible for delivering Building Control services across a varied portfolio of projects throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas.

The role is primarily focused on site inspections, alongside some plan checking and technical work.

Your responsibilities will include:
 

• Carrying out Building Control site inspections
• Plan checking
• Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations
• Applying sound professional judgement
• Working closely with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
• Managing a varied workload across domestic and commercial projects (depending on your classification)
• Contributing to the continued delivery of a high-quality Building Control service
