Sourcing Manager - Manchester - c£60,000 + Hybrid Working

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with a leading global apparel manufacturer to recruit a Sourcing Manager to join their team.

As Sourcing Manager, you'll take ownership of global sourcing across finished products, trims and fabrics, partnering with international vendors to drive better cost, quality and value.

Working Hours / Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate with international vendors to secure the best pricing and quality across finished products, trims and fabrics
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure strong service levels, purchasing controls, contract compliance and value for money
• Carry out ongoing market research and benchmarking to identify alternative vendors and keep sourcing strategies competitive
• Lead evaluation teams and stakeholder groups through supplier assessment, selection and implementation of audit recommendations
• Analyse procurement costs and develop strategies to reduce spend and improve efficiency
• Monitor and report on global sourcing activity, maintaining regular communication with vendors
• Champion Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) across the business

Previous Experience:

• Previous experience in a strategic sourcing role within a similar industry (Apparel, Clothing, Footwear or PPE)
• Previously sourced internationally (ideally from Asia)
• A proven track record of vendor negotiation and relationship management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
