Onsite Support Engineer – Enhanced DBS

We are looking for an experienced Onsite Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT support within a busy user environment. This is an onsite role requiring strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently with minimal supervision.

Due to the nature of the environment, candidates must hold a current Enhanced DBS.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to users onsite.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, network and connectivity issues.
• Support and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
• Administer and support Windows Server environments.
• Manage users, computers, groups, permissions and policies within Microsoft Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi and general network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Perform user account administration, password resets and access management.
• Build, configure and deploy Windows devices.
• Investigate incidents and service requests, escalating more complex problems where required.
• Maintain accurate support records and technical documentation.
• Provide professional, customer-focused support to users at all levels.
