We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced A&H Team Leader and Underwriter to join our dynamic team at the National Underwriting Centre in Manchester.

 As an A&H Team Leader and Underwriter at Chubb, you will play a crucial role in managing and underwriting Accident & Health (A&H) renewals through our e-trade platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective assessment of risks, while also fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. While leadership experience is not essential, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong desire to lead and inspire others, embodying Chubb's core leadership competencies. 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Underwrite A&H insurance products, assessing risks and determining appropriate coverage and pricing.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement underwriting strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Management and oversight of the team’s workload to ensure we provide a high level of service to our brokers.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and excellence.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Proven experience in A&H underwriting is essential.

  • Prior leadership experience is desirable

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
