NG Bailey Facilities Services is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team on an exciting new-build commercial development in the heart of Manchester city centre. This landmark project is the latest addition to our growing portfolio and represents a premium, high-specification environment requiring exceptional service delivery.
You’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across state-of-the-art systems within a modern commercial setting. You’ll also play a key role in supporting high standards of building performance, safety, and customer service.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
An experienced Mechanical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.

Summary

You’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across state-of-the-art systems within a modern commercial setting. You’ll also play a key role in supporting high standards of building performance, safety, and customer service.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
- Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
- Completing Remedial Works identified through Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works when requested.
- To maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard
- To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.
- Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required
- The role is for core hours Monday to Friday 0700-1530 Week 1 Week 2 1030-1900

You Will Hold Current Qualifications To Include
- NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical Discipline e.g. Heating and Ventilating or City and Guilds equivalent
- And be conversant with Mechanical Plant/Plumbing related Building Services PPM's carried out in-line with SFG20 an d resulting Remedial Work .
- Competent working knowledge of Air Handling Unit’s, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning equipment, Cold Water systems, Heating and Ventilation systems,
- IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable)
- Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable)
- L8 Training (Desirable)
