Reinsurance Pricing Actuary - #1672876

An experienced reinsurance pricing actuary is sought for this growing multi-line reinsurer.

Writing all major classes within Marine, Property, Casualty and Specialty lines from offices in Bermuda and London; this business operates internationally working closely with brokers in London and the US.

You will have the opportunity to work across lines in support of the Head of Reinsurance Pricing, deputising to help manage a team of both qualified and part-qualified actuaries.

The position will include leading pricing and performance monitoring of proportional and non-proportional business including experience and exposure rating. You will communicate analysis to underwriters, suggest alternative reinsurance structures and develop manage model development projects. There will also be input into business planning and underwriting strategy.

This position can provide the opportunity to manage others on a formal or informal basis, but it will also be a visible role with teams such as underwriting, exposure management, reinsurance purchase and the wider actuarial team.

Ideally you will be a qualified actuary with reinsurance pricing experience in the London market. However, those that are not quite yet qualified or have stopped the exams, and can display the necessary experience for the position will be considered.
