I'm working with a growing digital agency that's built an excellent reputation for helping businesses improve their online presence through high-performing websites and digital marketing campaigns. As demand continues to increase, they're looking to hire an experienced Copywriter to join their collaborative team. Whilst many businesses are using AI to generate content, this agency is taking a different approach. They're looking for a copywriter who understands how to write content that performs in an AI driven search landscape. Someone who can create authoritative, engaging content that not only resonates with human audiences but is structured to maximise visibility across search engines, AI search platforms and emerging discovery channels.

This is a content led role where website copywriting sits at the heart of what you'll do. You'll be responsible for creating engaging, conversion-focused content across a range of client websites, producing everything from homepages and service pages through to landing pages, blogs and wider digital marketing content. You'll also review and improve existing website content, helping clients strengthen their messaging, improve user engagement and generate more enquiries. Working closely with SEO specialists, designers and developers, you'll ensure content is not only well written but also structured to support search visibility, user experience and website performance. You'll need to be comfortable adapting your writing style across multiple sectors and brands whilst managing a varied workload of client projects.

The ideal candidate will have previous copywriting or content writing experience, ideally within an agency environment, alongside a portfolio that demonstrates strong website content and a flair for persuasive, commercially focused writing. A good understanding of SEO copywriting, customer journeys and conversion-focused content will be important. Any exposure to AI search optimisation, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), content performance, or evolving search trends would be highly advantageous.

The role is paying £30,000-£35,000 and requires attendance in the Manchester office once per week.
