SHEQ Lead Manchester/Liverpool | £70,000 plus car allowance and benefits

We're supporting a leading contractor in the UK utilities and infrastructure sector to recruit a SHEQ Lead, providing specialist support across water-sector projects including treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, reservoirs and network infrastructure.

The successful SHEQ Lead will: * Provide SHEQ and CDM guidance across projects, supporting safe delivery from design through construction and commissioning. * Support compliance with CDM 2015, including coordinating pre-construction information and reviewing Construction Phase Plans. * Lead audits, site assurance activity and the implementation of corporate and client standards into practical local arrangements. * Take ownership of high-potential/high-severity incident management, investigations, reporting and close-out of corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have: * A strong technical grounding in construction risk, assurance and incident investigation, ideally within utilities or civil engineering environments. * A relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma) and a proactive approach to CDM and statutory compliance. * Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build credibility with clients and delivery teams.
