The Opportunity
I'm currently working with an innovative fintech business in Manchester that is looking to hire a Data Analyst to join its growing data and technology team.
The organisation develops technology-led financial products and services, using data to improve customer experiences, optimise financial performance and support business growth. As the business continues to expand, it's investing in its data capabilities to make better use of the information it collects and strengthen its analytical capabilities across the organisation.
This is a hands-on analytical opportunity where you'll work with large and varied datasets, develop reporting solutions and translate complex information into meaningful commercial insights. You'll play an important role in understanding customer behaviour, monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities to improve products, processes and overall business efficiency.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across product, finance, operations, technology and senior leadership, helping turn data into actionable insights that influence business decisions. The role will also involve developing dashboards, improving reporting processes and ensuring key business metrics are accurate, accessible and understood.
The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with Power BI or Tableau and the ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working within fintech, financial services, banking, payments or another technology-led environment would be particularly valuable.
If you're a Data Analyst looking to work within a growing fintech business, gain exposure to financial and customer data and have a genuine influence on commercial and product decisions, this could be an excellent opportunity.
