The ideal candidate is from an Audit environment, working with everything from your smaller owner managed businesses, SME's and larger corporates. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already has significant audit experience working within an audit or a mixed audit and accounting role, and who is seeking to progress and personally develop in their audit career.

Audit Advisor - Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering statutory audit assignments.
• Managing audit teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Working closely with managers, directors and partners.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Attending client premises across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, as well as working from the office and home.
• Supporting year-end accounts preparation and wider advisory assignments.
• Training, supporting and developing junior members of the audit team.
• Identifying opportunities to improve audit quality and operational efficiency.
• Building towards taking responsibility for smaller audits and reporting directly to Responsible Individuals.

Audit Advisor - Candidate Specification:

• Significant experience in audit, either within a dedicated audit or mixed audit and accounts role.
• A part-qualified or post-exam qualified accountancy status.
• A proactive approach and the ability to use your initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent client service.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to its wider success.
• Resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude.
• An interest in supporting and developing more junior colleagues.
