Robert Walters are partnering with a successful privately owned business in the search for a commercially focused senior finance leader to join them in a highly influential role.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a well rounded leadership role in which you'll manage and grow the finance function, along with being a key member of the senior leadership team and a genuine strategic partner to the business.

This isn't simply a reporting role - you'll have the opportunity to use financial and operational insight to drive profitability, improve cash generation, identify commercial opportunities and support sustainable growth.

Key areas will include:

• Financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting
• Commercial and profitability analysis
• Cash flow and working capital
• Supplier profitability and commission arrangements
• Leadership of finance and operational teams
• Management information and KPI development
• Process improvement and automation
• Board-level reporting and commercial decision support

You as the successful individual:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Strong commercial finance experience
• Significant team leadership experience
• Confidence adding strategic value directly with a CEO and Board
• Experience improving profitability and managing costs
• Strong financial control and reporting credentials
• The ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
