Graduate Accounts Receivable - #2182962

Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE
Working pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated finance professional to join a growing Finance team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with around 12 months' experience in transactional finance, accounts receivable or credit control who is looking to take the next step in their career.

You'll play a key role in managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, covering invoicing, cash allocation, reconciliations and credit control. You'll also have the opportunity to improve processes and gain exposure to new finance technology and automation.

• Supporting monthly billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
• Managing customer accounts, allocating payments and investigating discrepancies.
• Proactively chasing outstanding invoices and resolving payment queries.
• Monitoring overdue debt and supporting credit control activities.
• Working with internal teams to resolve billing queries, purchase order issues and disputes.
• Completing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
• Around 12 months' experience in transactional finance, accounts receivable, accounts payable or credit control.
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and colleagues.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and an interest in developing within finance.

Experience with finance systems, pivot tables or AAT studies would be advantageous but isn't essential.
