Senior Regeneration & Development Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Regeneration & Development Manager to join our growing team at Walker Sime.

This is an opportunity to work on complex regeneration and development programmes, bringing together public and private sector stakeholders to help turn ambitious plans into deliverable outcomes.

This isn’t a traditional construction Project Manager role. You’ll work across regeneration and development, taking ownership of key workstreams, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contributing to development bids and procurement processes.

You’ll also have the opportunity to build your own client relationships, grow your industry network and play a part in developing our regeneration offering.

While we’re primarily recruiting at Senior Manager level, we’re open to strong Manager-level candidates ready to take that next step.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regeneration and development workstreams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Support development partner procurements, competitive dialogue and major bids.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, developers and public sector organisations.
• Produce high-quality reports, presentations and bid material.
• Bring commercial thinking to development viability and deliverability.
• Take ownership, solve problems and keep projects moving.
• Help grow our regeneration and development network and opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

You may come from regeneration, development, property or development consultancy rather than a traditional construction PM background.

• Experience across regeneration and development projects.
• Worked with local authorities, combined authorities, developers or similar stakeholders.
• A good understanding of how the public and private sectors work together on major developments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Exposure to development partner procurement, competitive dialogue or major development bids.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of development viability.
• Excellent written and client-facing communication skills.
• An established or developing network within the regeneration and development sector.
• The confidence to take ownership and build relationships.
