Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a thriving mainstream secondary school in Wythenshawe, South Manchester, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive department within a school committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to develop confidence and progress within the subject.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Wythenshawe, South Manchester
Position: Maths Teacher
Type of Work: Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
Start Date: Immediate

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time
Minimum Rate of Pay: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

THE ROLE
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Support students to achieve positive outcomes.
Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school.
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
ECTs are encouraged to apply.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
