Palatine Talent is proud to be exclusively partnering with the Executive Team of a fast-growing, forward-thinking business looking to transform its Finance function and build the foundations for its next stage of growth.

This is not a conventional Finance Director role. The business needs a strong, hands-on finance leader who can challenge the status quo, improve reporting and controls, streamline processes and bring people together to deliver lasting change.

The challenge:

• Transform month-end and consolidated financial reporting, with a target of getting Board-level accounts completed by working day seven.
• Improve the accuracy and flow of financial and operational data, reducing manual processes, errors and rework.
• Review the Finance operating model, team structure, capabilities and systems.
• Work across Finance, Operations and Tech to establish clear ownership, accountability and better ways of working.
• Develop a practical roadmap for sustainable improvement, automation and future growth.

Who will thrive here?

Someone with strong technical finance credentials, but just as importantly, the confidence and emotional intelligence to lead change. You’ll be comfortable challenging established ways of working, building relationships and bringing people with you rather than simply imposing solutions.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet, tackling difficult issues and turning recommendations into tangible results.

The package?

• Base salary up to £100,000pa.
• Bonus / LTIP opportunity.
• Initial 18-24 month appointment, with the potential to move into a permanent position.
