Finance Manager - #2178517

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to be working with a successful and well-established property business in Manchester that is looking to recruit a qualified Finance Manager.

It's a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, ambitious business with an excellent reputation, a great working environment and a genuinely varied role.

Working within a small, collaborative finance team, you'll take ownership of the financial management of the business, working closely with senior finance colleagues, including the Finance Director, and other senior non-finance stakeholders, with plenty of exposure to the commercial side of the business.

The role will include:

• Preparing management accounts and financial forecasts across property investment, development and JV entities.
• Producing quarterly client reporting and management accounts.
• Cashflow forecasting, project reporting and monitoring development costs.
• Supporting property acquisitions, disposals, appraisals and funding arrangements.
• Service charge budgeting, monitoring and reconciliations.
• Preparing financial information for board packs and senior stakeholders.
• Supporting statutory accounts and year-end reporting.
• Mentoring and developing an Accounts Assistant.

What we're looking for:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or part qualified/finalist
• Strong management accounting, forecasting and analytical skills.
• A confident communicator who enjoys working closely with different teams and stakeholders.
• Someone happy being hands-on while also getting involved in the wider commercial aspects of the business.

Salary and Key Benefits:

• Salary of £55,000–£60,000.
• Bonus.
