Cavendish Maine Recruitment
Amazon National Account Manager – UK & Europe
Drive growth. Own the numbers. Shape the future of eCommerce.
Are you an Amazon expert who knows how to turn commercial insight into profitable growth? Do you thrive on the challenge of maximising performance, negotiating commercially and unlocking new opportunities across multiple European marketplaces?
- This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, commercially astute Amazon National Account Manager to take ownership of a major consumer goods business across Amazon UK and Europe, driving sales, profitability and online market share.
- Working with an established portfolio of quality, innovative household brands, you’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, influence performance and make a tangible impact on the business's continued growth.
The Opportunity:
- Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll take the lead on the Amazon Vendor Central (1P) business across the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
- Combining strategic thinking with a hands-on, results-driven approach, you’ll be responsible for the account P&L, developing commercial plans and ensuring every opportunity to improve performance is maximised.
- This is a role for someone who understands that success on Amazon goes far beyond sales.
- You’ll balance revenue growth with margin protection, optimise product visibility and conversion, and work collaboratively across marketing, supply chain and wider commercial teams to deliver sustainable, profitable results.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and grow the Amazon account: Lead day-to-day performance across UK and European marketplaces, delivering ambitious sales and profitability targets.
- Drive commercial performance: Manage the account P&L, annual vendor terms, promotional investment, Net PPM and unprofitable product lines, protecting margin while identifying opportunities for growth.
- Maximise visibility and conversion: Work closely with Performance Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to enhance product listings, A+ content, search rankings, reviews and ratings.
- Lead promotional strategy: Own the Amazon promotional calendar, including major retail events, ensuring activity aligns with wider business objectives.
- Optimise operational performance: Partner with supply chain teams to improve forecasting, stock availability, purchase order acceptance and fulfilment.
- Turn data into action: Use analytics, Excel and emerging AI tools to identify trends, evaluate performance and make informed commercial decisions.
- Manage key relationships: Work with Amazon, external agencies and internal stakeholders to strengthen performance and unlock new opportunities across Europe.
- Influence and inspire: Share your expertise, champion best practice and act as a role model for other eCommerce Account Managers.
What We’re Looking For:
- You’ll be a commercially driven eCommerce professional with at least three years’ hands-on experience managing an Amazon Vendor Central account, ideally within housewares, home, FMCG or another consumer goods category.
- You’ll bring a strong understanding of Amazon’s commercial mechanics, coupled with the analytical capability and commercial confidence to take ownership of a complex, multi-market account.
You’ll Also Have:
- Experience contributing to annual vendor negotiations and managing account profitability.
- A strong understanding of Net PPM, CRaP ASINs, chargebacks, purchase orders, promotions and Amazon Ads.
- Experience managing multiple European Amazon marketplaces.
- Excellent analytical skills, with confidence using Vendor Central reporting, Excel and data-driven decision-making.
- An interest in leveraging AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and commercial performance.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to challenge existing thinking and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience of Seller Central (3P), tools such as Helium 10, and a second European language would be advantageous, but are not essential.
- Above all, you’ll be energetic, tenacious and commercially minded. You’ll be equally comfortable developing the strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
Ready to Make an Impact?
- If you’re passionate about eCommerce, understand what drives success on Amazon and are ready to take ownership of a high-profile UK and European account, this could be your next move.
- Bring your commercial expertise, challenge the status quo and help drive the next stage of profitable growth.
