We are looking for a Digital PR Strategist to join our team. This role would suit someone with experience in Digital PR (ideally within an agency environment) who has strong client management skills and a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns across newsjacking, thought leadership and data-led campaigns.

You will work end-to-end across campaigns for multiple clients, from strategy and ideation through to production and outreach. As this is a heavily client-facing role, you will not only produce high-quality campaign content but also monitor campaign performance, report on results and keep clients regularly updated on progress.

The successful candidate will work across campaigns for clients in a variety of sectors, supporting activities such as FOI requests, analysing publicly available datasets, and identifying strong news angles within data trends.

Alongside overseeing data-led campaigns, participating in regular reactive briefings to identify, produce and outreach timely content to secure media coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on client accounts, including regular client calls and communication
  • Report on campaign performance, sharing wins, insights and updates with clients
  • Work towards meeting and exceeding client KPIs
  • Support and lead outreach activity across proactive, reactive, thought leadership and data-led campaigns
  • Contribute to team brainstorms and ideation sessions across multiple clients
  • Develop creative campaign ideas supported by robust, well-researched methodologies
  • Conduct data analysis to identify story angles and opportunities for media coverage (FOI requests, analysing publicly available datasets, consumer research insights)
  • Write compelling press releases, email pitches and campaign landing page copy that translate data into newsworthy content
  • Identify reactive PR opportunities by monitoring news, trends and social media
  • Research, build and manage targeted media lists relevant to campaign goals and audiences

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong client management skills – this is a client-facing role
  • Proven experience securing high quality links and coverage across national, lifestyle and digital media
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong English language ability
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced Excel skills are desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a Digital PR role is essential
  • Strong Digital PR skillset, including experience with newsjacking, campaign work and thought leadership
  • Good awareness of SEO and how Digital PR contributes to wider search performance
  • Ability to build targeted media lists and identify relevant publications
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and results to clients
