McBride Sport is supporting an elite sports organisation in the Northwest to appoint an experienced HR leader on a Fixed Term Contract basis. Our client operates within elite sport, with a strong heritage, and ambitious plans for the years ahead. It is a fast-moving, performance-driven environment where high standards on and off the field go hand in hand. This interim appointment comes at an important point in the organisation’s development. You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver tangible results within a defined timeframe and leave a lasting legacy once the project ends. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing current structures, processes and performance, and making practical recommendations for improvement
• Building strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing across departments
• Managing and motivating teams through change, keeping momentum high
• Reporting progress to the leadership team and, where required, the Board

We’d love to hear from people who bring:

• A proven track record in HR management or leadership, gained in sport, events or entertainment
• Experience of stepping into interim or project-based roles and making an impact quickly
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work at senior level
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach and the resilience to deliver under pressure
• Availability to start at short notice
