COMMERCIAL TECH CONTRACTS ASSOCIATE | MANCHESTER | £60,000–£75,000 + BONUS | NO FEE-EARNING TARGET

I’m currently working with a leading national law firm looking to appoint a Commercial Tech Contracts Associate to its highly regarded Manchester team.

One of the biggest differentiators? There is no individual fee-earning target.

The focus is on delivering high-quality work, developing technically and commercially, building strong client relationships and becoming a well-rounded lawyer.

It’s a genuinely high-calibre team offering excellent quality work, a collaborative culture and exposure to both major strategic projects and day-to-day commercial and technology contracting.

The work includes:

• Data protection and UK GDPR compliance programmes
• Data processing, data sharing and international data transfer arrangements
• Cybersecurity, data breaches and incident response matters
• AI governance, emerging technologies and regulatory compliance
• Digital marketing, e-Privacy and PECR compliance
• Technology, outsourcing and managed service agreements
• Software licensing, SaaS, cloud and technology procurement projects
• Strategic corporate and technology transactions

This could be particularly interesting for a Commercial, Technology, Data or IT lawyer looking to develop further within a specialist practice, with plenty of exposure to emerging areas including AI, SaaS, data and technology procurement.
