Credit Controller - #2166861

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Client in their established Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit control professional to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, build strong relationships and play a key role in maintaining cash flow within a fast-paced environment.

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively collecting outstanding payments
• Building strong relationships with customers and resolving account queries and disputes
• Reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies and managing cash allocation
• Issuing invoices, statements, payment reminders and other account documentation
• Monitoring aged debt reports and following up on overdue accounts
• Conducting regular reviews of outstanding debt and providing updates on collection performance
• Working closely with internal departments to resolve queries and improve collection processes
• Supporting the achievement of cash collection targets and credit control KPIs

• At least one year’s recent experience in a Credit Control role
• Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment
• Strong account reconciliation, cash allocation and query resolution skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities
• A proactive and self-motivated approach
• Confidence managing your own workload and handling challenging conversations
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail

• £27,000 – £29,000 salary, depending on experience
