StructSpectrum is a leading structural engineering company, providing structural calculations, design and reports to homeowners, builders and architects across the UK. We’re a growing business with a strong reputation for fast, reliable service, and we’re looking for the right person to join the team.

The role

You’ll be the first person our customers deal with. You’ll receive and reply to client enquiries coming in from various sources, send quotes and follow them up, answer customer questions, and book jobs in. You’ll also monitor jobs in progress and reach out to new potential clients to bring in more work.

You’ll work independently for most of the day, managing your own workload, with the area managers on hand when you need them.

Speed matters here. The fastest good reply usually wins the job, so enquiries and quotes are answered as quickly as possible. This is a performance-focused role, measured on response times and bookings.

What you’ll do

• Reply to client enquiries from various sources
• Prepare and send quotes for standard jobs
• Send follow-ups and reminders
• Answer customer questions
• Book jobs in
• Monitor jobs in progress and keep records updated
• Outreach to new potential clients

How the role grows

You’ll start on enquiries and quotes with full training and support. As you learn the business you’ll take on more, with a clear route to Senior Coordinator.

What we’re looking for

• Clear, confident writing and a good phone manner
• Experience in sales, customer service, bookings or admin
• Quick to respond, and motivated by hitting targets
• Well organised, with nothing dropped on a busy day
• Comfortable with online systems and AI tools
• Self-motivated, and able to work independently from home

A strong advantage

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Engineering
• Construction or a building trade
• Surveying
• Estimating

What we offer

• £28,000 salary, rising by £2,000 after one year
• Performance bonus of up to £3,000 a year
• Work from home, 40 hours a week (8 hours a day): either flexible between 8am and 8pm, or set hours, to be agreed
