Mulberry Recruitment

Sales Executive

Location: Fleet (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £32,000–£34,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Ready to take your sales career to the next level?

We’re looking for a driven, ambitious and commercially minded Sales Executive to join a growing financial services business in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves building relationships, winning new business and having genuine conversations with customers and business partners — while developing a long-term career within the financial services sector.

You’ll become a key point of contact for a network of brokers and intermediary partners, helping them understand products, lending criteria and underwriting requirements while identifying opportunities to generate new business.

And you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll work closely with experienced Business Development Managers and internal teams, giving you the opportunity to build your knowledge, develop your sales skills and progress your career.

What You'll Be Doing

Win new business by proactively engaging with brokers and intermediary partners.

Build and develop strong, long-term commercial relationships with new and existing accounts.

Manage your own regional panel of brokers through a structured telephone contact strategy.

Identify opportunities, understand business needs and position the right products and solutions.

Provide expert guidance on products, lending criteria and underwriting.

Work alongside field-based BDMs to maximise sales opportunities and grow business.

Become a trusted point of contact for your broker network, providing outstanding service and support.

Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline using the CRM system.

Help resolve technical and portal queries, ensuring intermediaries receive the support they need.

Keep ahead of market developments, competitor products and industry trends.

Work collaboratively across the business to hit targets and deliver exceptional service.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to be a mortgage expert from day one — we're looking for someone with the drive, commercial mindset and communication skills to succeed.

You'll ideally have:

Proven experience in sales, business development or account management.

A track record of generating new business and developing existing relationships.

Experience in B2B, financial services, mortgages or another regulated environment is highly desirable.

Confidence speaking to business owners, decision-makers and professional intermediaries.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

A consultative approach to sales and the ability to identify customer needs.

The motivation to work towards targets and deliver results.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

A genuine desire to build a career within financial services.

CeMAP would be a bonus — but it's not essential.

What's In It For You?

£32,000–£34,000 basic salary

Bonus opportunity

Competitive benefits package

Hybrid working

Fantastic opportunity to build a career in financial services

Exposure to business development, relationship management and mortgage lending

Supportive team environment with opportunities to develop and progress

Ready for your next move?

If you're a sales-driven, relationship-focused professional who wants to work in a role where your commercial skills can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation about the opportunity.
