Interim Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation during a period of transition. This is a hands-on role suited to a finance professional who can quickly integrate into an existing team, take responsibility for key financial activities and ensure accurate, timely reporting.

The successful candidate will bring strong financial management experience, a proactive approach and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.

This opportunity is available for an immediate start, and applicants must be happy working on an Inside IR35 contract.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the production of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor expenditure, investigate variances and highlight areas requiring attention.
• Maintain effective financial controls and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding financial queries.
• Support cash flow management and provide regular financial updates to senior management.
• Coordinate month-end activities, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Assist with audit preparation and ensure financial procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to colleagues within the finance function.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrable experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or equivalent senior finance role.
• Strong technical knowledge of management accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• The ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• A flexible, hands-on approach and the confidence to work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to start immediately.
• Willingness to work under an Inside IR35 contract.
