I’m currently representing an established wealth management firm in Manchester seeking an accomplished Financial Planner to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for an established client portfolio, with a clear focus on delivering sophisticated financial planning, maintaining trusted long-term relationships and developing the book over time.

The Opportunity

• Take responsibility for an established portfolio of private clients

• Deliver holistic financial planning and wealth management advice

• Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their families

• Identify opportunities to deepen and develop existing client relationships

• Work alongside an experienced paraplanning and support infrastructure

Candidate Requirements

• Level 4 qualified – minimum requirement

• CAS status – essential

• Chartered status – highly desirable

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the financial planning industry

• A minimum 2-year track record operating as a Financial Planner, with direct responsibility for managing a client portfolio of £25m+ AUM

• Candidates with a combination of advisory and paraplanning experience will also be considered, for example 2 years as a Financial Planner and 3 years in Paraplanning

• Demonstrable experience of personally managing client relationships and delivering advice at Planner level

• Strong technical knowledge, communication skills and a highly professional, client-led approach
