IFA Client Support Administrator

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established financial services business who are looking to recruit a Client Support Administrator to join their busy and growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to progress their career within financial services, as well as those looking to take their first steps into the industry.

Working closely with Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, you will play an important role in ensuring both new and existing clients receive an excellent level of service. You will be supported by experienced Operations Management and Learning & Development teams, with comprehensive training provided to help you build your industry knowledge and expertise.

The Role

The Client Support Administrator role is fast-paced, varied and rewarding. You will support Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with the administration required to deliver an efficient and professional client service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and collating client meeting documentation for Financial Advisers, including portfolio valuations, application forms and regulatory documents
  • Processing fees relating to new and ongoing business and following up outstanding payments
  • Monitoring and updating the progress of new business cases
  • Completing anti-money laundering checks
  • Ensuring client servicing meets FCA requirements and company service standards
  • Responding to queries and enquiries from Financial Advisers, clients and product providers
  • Providing general administrative support to advisers and paraplanners
  • Managing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Building strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and external providers

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a financial advisory firm or financial services environment, giving you an understanding of the industry and the ability to work confidently in a demanding but rewarding setting.

You will also have:

  • Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to communicate professionally with clients, advisers and product providers
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple deadlines
  • A proactive and positive approach to your work
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine desire to develop your career within financial services
