As an SEN Learning Support Practitioner, you will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs.

Your day could include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils access learning.

• Supporting children with their communication, social and emotional development.

• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills.

• Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs.

• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and encouraging positive behaviour.

• Working alongside teachers, therapists and other professionals to support individual learning plans.

• Creating a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Celebrating pupils' achievements and helping them recognise their own progress.
