Site Manager – Refurbishment / Fit-Out Manchester

Borne Resourcing are looking for an experienced Site Manager for a long-term education refurbishment programme in Manchester.

The project involves the phased refurbishment of around 60–70 classrooms across two floors, typically working on 8 classrooms at a time over 8–12 week phases before handing over and moving onto the next area.

The overall programme is expected to run for around 18 months to 2 years.

Works include:

• Cat A & B refurbishment
  
  
• HVAC
  
  
• Sprinklers and fire alarms
  
  
• Acoustic works
  
  
• Secondary glazing
  
  
• Flooring and decoration
  
  
• Furniture moves
  
  
• Phased handovers
  
  

You’ll manage the site day-to-day, coordinate subcontractors and access, liaise with the client team on site and make sure each phase is delivered safely, properly and on programme.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Based locally to Manchester
  
  
• Experienced in refurbishment / fit-out
  
  
• Organised and a strong communicator
  
  
• Comfortable managing phased works in a live environment
