Salary: £29,000 - £37,000
Contract: Full time, part time, permanent, remote

An established and growing personal injury team is looking to appoint an experienced Fast Track Fee Earner to join its busy and supportive practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Personal Injury professional who enjoys managing their own caseload and is looking for the flexibility of a fully remote role.
You will handle a varied portfolio of road traffic accident claims, taking ownership of matters from initial instruction through to settlement and, where necessary, through the litigation process. The role will suit someone who is comfortable working independently, managing a busy caseload and delivering a consistently high level of client service.

As a Fast Track Fee Earner, you will manage a substantial caseload of pre- and post-litigation RTA claims, including non-portal matters. You will be responsible for progressing claims efficiently, advising clients throughout the process and identifying the appropriate strategy for each case.
Your responsibilities will include:

• 
  Managing a varied caseload of pre- and post-litigation road traffic accident claims
• 
  Taking full ownership of matters from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation
• 
  Managing non-portal claims and more complex liability disputes
• 
  Dealing with motorcycle claims and matters involving disputed or denied liability
• 
  Building strong client relationships and providing clear, practical advice throughout the claims process
• 
  Reviewing medical evidence and assessing quantum, including claims involving multiple or more complex injuries
• 
  Preparing schedules of special damages and assessing appropriate compensation for pain, suffering and loss of amenity
• 
  Researching relevant case law and authorities where required
• 
  Negotiating with insurers, third parties and their representatives to achieve appropriate settlements
• 
  Identifying cases where litigation is necessary and taking the appropriate steps to progress proceedings
• 
  Drafting and issuing court proceedings where required
• 
  Completing Directions Questionnaires and ensuring compliance with court orders and procedural deadlines
• 
  Preparing disclosure documentation and dealing with evidential requirements
• 
  Participating in telephone hearings and other hearings where necessary
• 
  Preparing and submitting evidence in support of clients' claims
• 
  Instructing Counsel, medical experts and other professionals where appropriate
• 
  Maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records
• 
  Ensuring all matters are progressed in accordance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and relevant deadlines
• 
  Managing your workload effectively to meet performance targets and service standards

We are looking for an experienced Fee Earner with a strong background in Fast Track Personal Injury claims and the confidence to manage a substantial caseload independently.
You will ideally have:

• 
  Previous experience managing your own caseload of RTA claims
• 
  Experience handling both pre- and post-litigation matters
• 
  A strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and the wider litigation process
• 
  Experience dealing with liability disputes and non-portal claims
• 
  Strong knowledge of quantum assessment and medical evidence
• 
  Excellent negotiation and client management skills
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• 
  Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• 
  The ability to manage competing deadlines across a busy caseload
• 
  Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of file management
• 
  Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
• 
  A practical and solution-focused approach to resolving issues
• 
  The ability to work autonomously and remain motivated within a remote environment
• 
  A positive and collaborative approach to working as part of a wider team
• 
  A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up to date with legal and procedural changes

A Solicitor or CILEX practitioner with relevant practising rights would be advantageous, although applications from experienced Fee Earners will also be considered.
