Finance Manager (Commercial) / Manchester (Hybrid) / Salary circa £60,000 plus great benefits.

Accountable Recruitment have the pleasure of supporting our client with the recruitment of a Finance Manager to join their growing team. We're looking for a commercially focused Finance Manager who will manage a small team and report into an impressive Group Financial Controller. This is a key role that sits at the heart of the UK business, providing financial insight, performance analysis and decision support to senior stakeholders.

Leading a team of two, you'll take ownership of gross margin reporting and analysis, ensuring the business has clear visibility of performance drivers and opportunities. This role would suit a qualified accountant who combines strong financial rigour with excellent commercial acumen and is looking to develop their career within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of UK gross margin reporting, analysis and forecasting.
• Deliver insightful monthly reporting, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
• Produce meaningful commentaries and performance analysis for senior leadership.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive business performance.
• Develop a deep understanding of the UK P&L and the factors influencing profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, controls and financial analysis.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of two finance professionals.

Key skills

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Strong understanding of P&L reporting and financial performance drivers.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable business insight.
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing high-quality management information and financial commentary.
• Proactive, driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous management experience or a desire to develop leadership capability.
