Sites: 16 commercial sites across Manchester and surrounding areas

Smart Managed Solutions are recruiting 2 x Mobile Electrical Engineers to join a brand-new Knight Frank contract across Manchester.

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you’ll cover a portfolio of 16 commercial sites, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance while supporting the wider FM team across the contract.

One position is due to start in August, with the second starting in September.

Duties

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
• Lighting and emergency lighting maintenance
• Testing, inspection and general electrical compliance
• Small electrical installations and remedial works
• Complete PPM tasks and associated documentation
• Liaise with site teams, clients and contractors
• Support wider building services maintenance where required

What We’re Looking For

The successful Mobile Electrical Engineer will ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds electrical qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Previous experience within FM, building services or commercial maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
