Production Engineer - #2154543

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support the manufacture and improvement of specialist vehicle solutions.

A hands-on role combining production engineering, problem-solving, manufacturing support and mechanical design. The role includes using 2D/3D CAD to design and modify components and assemblies.

£40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Manchester | Permanent | Full-time
Monday - Friday | Day shifts

• Support production and workshop teams.

• Design and modify components using 2D/3D CAD.

• Produce technical drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.

• Resolve production issues and improve processes.

• Support new products, prototypes and engineering changes.

• Improve quality, efficiency and manufacturability.

• HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive Engineering, Product Design or similar.

• Experience in production, manufacturing or design engineering.

• Strong 3D CAD skills - SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, CATIA or similar.

• Good understanding of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly.

• Practical problem-solving approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable: Automotive/vehicle conversion experience, or experience with brackets, fixtures, tooling or electrical integration.
