Clinical Negligence Lawyer - #2149863

A top 100, national law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing Manchester team.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while working alongside experienced solicitors and senior lawyers on matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims.
• Handling both pre-litigation and litigated matters.
• Drafting Letters of Claim, witness statements and other legal documentation.
• Instructing medical experts and reviewing evidence.
• Negotiating settlements and progressing claims efficiently.
• Supporting senior lawyers on complex clinical negligence cases.
• Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Maintaining excellent client care throughout the litigation process.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ plus) or equivalent experience in clinical negligence.
• Experience managing or assisting with a clinical negligence caseload.
• Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent client care and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to case progression.
