Head of Safeguarding. HOME BASED - FLEXIBLE LOCATION. Healthcare. Mental Health. Public Health. Community Health. Children's Services & Adult Services. 

A superb, newly created opportunity is available to join a successful, well established care provider as their Head of Safeguarding. 

You will have excellent knowledge of safeguarding (working with children would be a bonus, but this role covers both children's services and adults), with superb communication skills and an ability quickly grasp a dispersed, complex organisation. 

This will be an excellent chance to be exposed to a wide range of cutting-edge health services, where you will take a lead role in terms of safeguarding practice and procedure. 

Working with (and with the support of) the senior management team, you will be the key point of contact for safeguarding.  You will provide supervision for the DSLs in different parts of the organisation, plan and deliver safeguarding training at all levels, conduct audit, support management with preparations for inspections, and much more. 

No two days will be the same, and you will have relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This is a progressive organisation embarking on a period of planned expansion, so an exciting time to join and be part of their ongoing success story.  Any relevant qualifications would be useful (Level 4 Safeguarding, IOSH/NEBOSH) or certainly a desire to complete such qualifications if not already held.
