• As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our vibrant, Grade A office in Manchester — a genuine chance to build your own desk and grow with a company that invests heavily in its people, systems and brand.

The Role

• Take full ownership of the 360 recruitment cycle, from first client conversation through to placement.

• Meet clients face-to-face to understand their business and hiring needs, take detailed job briefs, and clearly explain how Cast UK will find them the right candidates.

• Meet candidates in person to understand their skills and career motivations, matching them to live vacancies and speculative opportunities alike, while flagging strategic clients and market trends to your Managing Consultant.

What You'll Be Doing

• Search for candidates across the Cast UK database, job boards, social media and referrals, then write and advertise roles accurately across all channels.

• Screen applicants for suitability and genuine interest before submitting them to clients with a clear synopsis and polished CV.

• Manage candidates through the full interview process and relay detailed feedback professionally on both sides.

• Once an offer is agreed, confirm terms and a start date, collect references, and see the placement through - all while developing repeat business and cross-selling other Cast UK services.

What We're Looking For

• Previous sales or recruitment experience, or a background in a customer-focused, target-driven environment where you've set and achieved your own goals.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail, confident negotiation and listening skills, and a team-player mindset who can also work well on your own initiative.

• A resilient, self-motivated “can do” attitude and a “right first time” approach.

• A full UK driving licence, plus GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent); a degree or previous sales training would be an advantage.
