Your new company
Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced EICR Electricians to work on a large-scale, long-term domestic electrical testing contract covering properties across Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified testing electricians looking for consistent, ongoing work with a high volume of EICRs available.

The position is focused specifically on electrical testing and inspection, meaning no remedial works are required. You can concentrate on completing EICRs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of testing, reporting and customer service.

Your new role
Working across occupied and void domestic properties within your designated area, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within domestic properties
• Completing thorough electrical inspections and testing
• Producing accurate certification and testing documentation
• Identifying, coding and recording electrical defects and observations
• Ensuring testing is completed in accordance with BS 7671
• Managing your workload efficiently across designated postcode areas
• Working professionally and respectfully within residents' homes
• Ensuring all testing and documentation meet the required contract and company standards
• Maintaining excellent levels of customer service throughout each appointment

What you'll need to succeed

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• AM2 qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification or equivalent
• Strong previous experience completing domestic EICRs
• Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and testing procedures
• Full UK Licence
