An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established and highly regarded independent financial advice firm with a strong regional presence across Leeds and Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Paraplanner looking to join a growing Financial Planning team, supporting experienced Financial Planners and working across an established and increasingly complex client base.

As a Paraplanner, you will provide high-quality technical, research and analytical support to the Financial Planning team, helping to deliver a first-class service to clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing suitability reports and client recommendations
• Conducting detailed research across investments, pensions, protection and wider financial planning
• Supporting Financial Planners with complex technical queries and client cases
• Preparing cash-flow analysis and financial planning reports
• Assisting with new business and ongoing client reviews
• Liaising with product providers and third parties
• Supporting the implementation of client recommendations
• Ensuring all work is accurate, compliant and completed within agreed timescales
• Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, regulation and industry developments

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
• 3+ years' experience working as a Paraplanner or above
• Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning
• Experience supporting Advisers with complex and high-value client cases
• Excellent research, analytical and report-writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good knowledge of current financial planning regulation, including Consumer Duty
• Experience using financial planning and research systems such as Intelligent Office, Voyant, FE Analytics or similar
• A collaborative and proactive approach
• A genuine interest in developing your technical knowledge and career within financial planning

• Salary up to £55,000, depending on experience
