Accord Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Middleton, Manchester (M24).

 The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing repairs to a high standard
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Completing job cards and repair records
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy workshop

 About You

• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent is essential
• Previous HGV / LGV / Truck / Commercial Vehicle experience
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose effectively
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Full UK Driving Licence

The role is commutable from Middleton, Rochdale, Oldham, Heywood, Bury, Manchester and surrounding areas.
