Temporary Learning Support Assistant - Personal Care
Location: Manchester
Contract: Temporary, Part Time
Hours: 4 days per week

Eden Brown are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a leading sixth form in Manchester on a temporary basis, working 4 days per week.

This is a rewarding role supporting a young person with their learning, wellbeing and day-to-day needs. The successful candidate will provide a combination of educational support and personal care, helping the student to participate fully in sixth-form life and develop their independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day.
* Support the student to access lessons, activities and the wider sixth-form environment.
* Provide appropriate personal care and assistance with day-to-day needs, maintaining the students dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
* Support with mobility, positioning and personal care routines where required.
* Encourage the students independence and involvement in their own care and learning.
* Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral colleagues, families and relevant professionals.

We are looking for someone who is:
* Caring, compassionate and patient.
* Comfortable providing personal care in a professional educational environment.
* Respectful of students dignity, privacy and individual needs.
* Able to build a trusting and positive relationship with young people.
* Reliable, calm and able to respond appropriately to changing situations.
* A strong communicator

A DBS is also needed for this role.
