Job DescriptionWe are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a well-established financial planning firm in Manchester.
The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative and client support to Financial Advisers, ensuring the efficient processing of new and existing business while delivering a high-quality client experience.
You will play a key role in supporting advisers throughout the client journey, from new business and provider liaison through to ongoing servicing and suitability administration. The role would suit an organised, proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of financial planning processes.
Key Responsibilities- Processing new business across pensions, investments, protection and other financial products
- Processing fund switches and chasing cases through to completion
- Preparing illustrations, valuations and portfolio summaries for client meetings
- Managing Letters of Authority and obtaining information from providers
- Processing ongoing client servicing requests, including withdrawals, personal detail changes, tax and plan information and death claims
- Maintaining accurate client records and transactional information on Intelliflo
- Supporting fee and invoice processing and service status management
- Completing ongoing suitability administration following client review meetings
- Liaising with providers, platforms and third parties to progress cases and resolve queries
- Managing outstanding information and ensuring cases progress within agreed SLAs
- Supporting client onboarding and the use of the Client Portal
- Ensuring all processing is completed in line with FCA, AML, risk and compliance requirements
- £35,000 salary

- Previous experience within an IFA / Financial Services Administrator role
- Good understanding of financial products, particularly pensions, investments and protection
- Experience with new business and ongoing client servicing
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Intelliflo or similar back-office systems would be advantageous
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
