This is not a background administrative role where every day looks the same.
As a Team Administrator, you will sit at the centre of a fast-moving recruitment business, coordinating international travel, managing assignment documentation, resolving candidate queries and ensuring the details behind every placement are handled properly.
You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team, consultants, candidates and internal departments, often becoming the person people rely on when something needs organising, answering or fixing.
The role would suit someone who enjoys responsibility, communicates confidently and takes pride in staying one step ahead.

Key Responsibilities
- Travel and Accommodation Coordination: Organise flights, accommodation and travel arrangements for candidates working across the UK and Europe, responding quickly when plans change.
- Assignment Administration: Coordinate assignment schedules and documentation, ensuring candidates and internal teams have the correct information at the right time.
- Contract Support: Assist with contracts and act as a point of contact for contract-related questions.
- Payroll and Expense Queries: Support candidates with payroll and expense queries, working with the relevant internal teams to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
- Tracking and Reporting: Maintain expense trackers, assignment records and administrative systems, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Candidate Support: Support candidates before and throughout their assignments, providing a reliable point of contact when they need guidance.
- Inbound Call Handling: Handle incoming calls with confidence and professionalism, resolving queries where possible or directing them to the right person.
- Senior Leadership Support: Provide responsive administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and help ensure the wider business continues to run smoothly.
We are looking for someone who does more than wait for the next task.
You will be proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership in an environment where priorities can move quickly.
You will also have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, operations or business support role.
- Experience maintaining trackers, records and administrative systems.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks without losing sight of the detail.
- Confidence dealing with candidates and responding to contract, payroll and expense queries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
- A practical, collaborative approach and the confidence to solve problems independently.
- Experience within recruitment or another fast-paced, service-led business would be beneficial, but attitude, organisation and ownership are just as important.

- This position is based in our Manchester office.
- Working hours are 08:30-17:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Friday, with the option to work from home on Wednesday.
