Senior iOS Engineer - Native Swift & Backend-Driven UI

Location: Hybrid Options Available

Role Type: Contract

We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join an established product team building native features and backend-driven UI solutions.

If you can quickly jump into an existing codebase, write clean code, and reliably deliver features with minimal guidance, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop native iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.

• Own tasks from technical design through to production release.

• Collaborate with backend devs, product managers, and designers in an Agile environment.

• Maintain high code quality through unit testing, debugging, and monitoring tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit).

• Proven ability to onboard quickly into large, existing codebases.

• Strong experience with modern iOS architecture (MVVM), Xcode, and REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Solid understanding of unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Pragmatic problem-solver with great communication skills (familiarity with AI tools like Claude/Codex is a plus).

Nice to Have

• Large-scale consumer app experience.

• Observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Firebase).

• A/B testing platforms and performance optimization.
