We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of a high-quality Occupational Health service within a busy and established team.
This is a senior clinical and operational leadership role, ideal for an experienced Occupational Health professional who is looking to take the next step in their career while remaining clinically engaged.
The RoleYou will provide leadership across a multidisciplinary Occupational Health service comprising:
- 9 Occupational Health Nurses
- 2 Triage Technicians
- 1 Admin Lead
- 6 Administrators
The role is focused on clinical leadership, governance, quality, team management and operational performance.
Management referrals are undertaken by the Occupational Health Advisors, allowing you to focus on ensuring the service operates effectively and consistently to high clinical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage and support the Occupational Health clinical and administrative teams
- Oversee clinical governance, quality assurance and clinical standards
- Lead clinical audits and quality assessments
- Manage clinical escalations and safeguarding matters
- Coordinate team huddles, one-to-ones and performance reviews
- Identify and deliver training and development requirements
- Support continuous improvement across the service
- Contribute to SEQOHS revalidation and ongoing compliance
- Promote best practice and maintain high standards of clinical care
- Work closely with the Head of Service Operations on service delivery and performance
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health professional who has:
- A specialist Occupational Health degree or diploma
- Current NMC registration
- Previous leadership or management experience within Occupational Health
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality and compliance
- Experience managing and developing clinical teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A hands-on approach and the ability to remainactively practising within Occupational Health
