Travel Operations Executive

Manchester / Hybrid
Full-Time Monday - Friday!
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We're recruiting for a Travel Operations Executive to join a successful and established Tour Operator in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with travel industry experience who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure every booking and itinerary runs smoothly.

Previous travel operations experience would be ideal, however, we're also keen to hear from candidates from other areas of the travel industry who have exceptional attention to detail, strong administration skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

The Role

Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you'll play an important role in ensuring bookings are accurate and customers receive everything they need for a seamless travel experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing bookings thoroughly before final documentation and travel arrangements are issued
  • Preparing accurate confirmations, invoices and customer travel documents
  • Identifying discrepancies and working with colleagues to resolve them quickly
  • Ensuring booking information and documentation meet high standards of accuracy
  • Assisting with customer queries and supporting the wider team when required
  • Helping resolve any post-travel queries or issues
  • Contributing ideas to improve internal processes, quality checks and the overall customer experience
About You

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience within the travel industry, ideally within operations, administration, reservations or a similar role
  • Exceptional attention to detail - you're naturally someone who double (or triple!) checks your work
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A customer-focused approach
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to deadlines
  • A calm and professional manner when things don't quite go to plan
  • Confidence using your initiative and solving problems
  • The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player
  • A proactive, flexible and positive approach
Why Apply?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established travel business offering a beautiful portfolio of products and destinations, where quality and customer experience really matter.

You'll enjoy a hybrid working arrangement in Manchester, a competitive salary based on experience and the opportunity to develop your career within Travel Operations.
