NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly successful and growing Financial Planning firm to recruit a Junior IFA Administrator for their Manchester city centre office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a long-term career within Financial Services. The Role

Working within the new business administration team, you'll provide essential support to Advisers, Paraplanners and fellow Administrators, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient client journey from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for client enquiries, delivering a professional and friendly service.
  • Processing client documentation and maintaining accurate electronic records.
  • Scanning and uploading documentation onto back-office systems.
  • Issuing suitability reports prepared by the Paraplanning team.
  • Assisting with pension and investment applications.
  • Monitoring applications and liaising with providers to progress business.
  • Managing correspondence with clients, providers and internal teams.
  • Supporting Advisers and Paraplanners with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Developing knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning processes.
  • Maintaining an understanding of regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and support the wider administration team.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine interest in building a career within Financial Services.
  • Previous experience within administration, customer service or Financial Services is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience using Intelligent Office or other Financial Services back-office systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
