Hexagon Group

Hexagon Group is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected managing agent that continues to expand its impressive portfolio, securing some of the most sought after commercial assets across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Building Manager to take responsibility for a Grade A, commercial building in the heart of Manchester City Centre. The salary for this role is up to £43,000 plus company benefits.

Comprising over 100,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, this prestigious asset is home to a number of globally recognised brands and offers an exceptional working environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that places a strong emphasis on delivering best-in-class property management and outstanding occupier experience.

As Building Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the property, ensuring the asset is maintained to the highest standards and that any issues are resolved efficiently. You will be responsible for producing and managing the service charge budget, ensuring statutory compliance is maintained at all times, and leading on all health & safety matters across the building. You'll develop strong relationships with occupiers, responding proactively to their requirements while collaborating with external partners to deliver engaging tenant events and initiatives. You will play a key role in continually enhancing operational performance, driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer experience.

We are keen to speak with Building Managers who have previously managed a high-profile commercial property on behalf of a managing agent or experienced Assistant Building Managers seeking the next step in their career.

You'll be an engaging and customer-focused individual, confident building relationships with occupiers, contractors and senior stakeholders alike. Experience managing service charge budgets, contractors and statutory compliance is essential. An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, together with membership of a recognised industry body such as IWFM or RICS, would be advantageous.

In return, you'll be joining an organisation with an outstanding reputation within the property industry, offering genuine opportunities for career progression and the chance to manage one of Manchester's premier commercial buildings.

Our client is keen to move quickly with this appointment and will be interviewing suitable candidates as soon as possible.
