About the SchoolThis specialist provision supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs, moderate learning difficulties, and complex communication needs.

The RoleAs an SEN Specialist Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire pupils to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with support staff, therapists, families, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential.
This role offers the opportunity to teach pupils across either primary or secondary pathways depending on your experience and preferences.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons
- Adapt learning to meet a range of SEND needs and abilities
- Develop positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and support staff
- Monitor progress and celebrate achievements, no matter how small
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and communication development
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and personalised learning plans
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEND, either in specialist or mainstream settings
- A nurturing and child-centred approach
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
