Robert Half is partnering with a growing financial services organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner into a highly visible and commercially focused role.
This opportunity offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to play a key role in shaping commercial performance, strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
Working closely with commercial stakeholders, the successful candidate will act as a trusted finance partner, providing insight, challenge and support across customer opportunities, forecasting activities and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary finance contact for commercial and sales teams.
- Review, analyse and challenge commercial proposals, ensuring opportunities are financially robust before approval.
- Deliver meaningful insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including CFO-level audiences.
- Lead forecasting activities, partnering closely with sales teams to understand performance drivers and future expectations.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support decision-making and business planning.
- Support the development and execution of long-term strategic plans.
- Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support growth initiatives and investment decisions.
- Partner with FP&A and regional analyst teams to deliver accurate reporting and forecasting outputs.
- Contribute to strategic and ad-hoc projects across the business.
The successful candidate will be a qualified finance professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insight.
Requirements include:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Previous experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering roles.
- Strong financial modelling and forecasting capability.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Experience using planning and forecasting tools such as Anaplan would be advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience operating within a commercially focused environment where revenue growth and customer performance are key business drivers.
- Background within financial services, fintech, payments, banking or other regulated sectors would be beneficial.
- Audit experience is welcomed but not essential.
- Base salary of £70,000 - £75,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
- Annual bonus opportunity (circa 8%).
