Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Manchester city centre

Salary: 48k - 56k dependent on experience, hybrid working (3 days in the office)

Emtech Recruitment is working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer for their growing Manchester team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered or near-Chartered Structural Engineer looking to work on a varied portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, education, regeneration and mixed-use developments.

You’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team focused on sustainable design and high-quality engineering solutions, with the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior engineers and work closely with both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis across a range of building projects
• Preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings and technical reports
• Managing project delivery, resources and deadlines
• Attending client, design team and site meetings
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians
• Assisting with project coordination and business development activities
• Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and quality standards

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
• Strong experience delivering UK building structures projects
• Proficient in structural design and technical reporting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working across multiple sectors
